Oooops – the XBSLink Cloudlist server was down after a system/php update, sorry for that.
Everything should be up and running again.

Yesterday, the cloudlist server has been updated to use a mysql database instead of a simple sqlite file db. Errors on cloudlist updates are gone now!
The updated cloudlist server file will be in the download section later today. Stay tuned for a XBSlink client update …
The simple XBSlink cloudlist server has been updated to v1.8.
As part of the update, only clients starting from v0.9.5.3 will be able to create or join clouds. This is mainly to prevent cloud overlapping.
The experimental NAT feature is currently broken and should not be used. XBSlink will crash if switched on.
The fix is already committed and will be available in the next version.
The cloudlist server will be upgraded.
As part of the update the cloudlist server will require the user to use at least a specific XBSlink version (v0.9.5.3) or newer. This is necessary to prevent cloud overlapping.
Please make sure to upgrade your XBSlink client to the current version soon.
Some XBSlink clouds mysteriously merged into a big mess… no more!
The settings tabs has been redesigned and new options have been added. Please check your settings!
Please note that due to some minor changes in the XBSlink protocol, a complete backward compatibility can not be guaranteed.
Changelog:
Newer Xbox360 games use a slightly different system-link protocol. XBSlink v0.9.5.0 is now compatible with these games (eg. GoW3).

UPDATE: If you downloaded the windows installer before 04:30 MET (GMT+1) 17.11.2011 please reload and reinstall. I accidentally uploaded the wrong file.
the simple XBSlink cloudlist server (php/sqlite3) v1.7.1 has been released. (see downloads)
the change-log is pretty short this time:
shortly after releasing XBSlink v0.9.4.0 I received a message about XBSlink not starting properly if the NPF WinPCap device is not started. I also noticed that the address of the web-service XBSlink is using to discover the external IP address has changed.
both issues are fixed in XBSlink v0.9.4.1
Actually i wanted to release the new XBSlink version once the PS3 compatibility mode is fully functional, but since there are many fixes helping all users, here is XBSlink v0.9.4.0.
The overall stability greatly improved, thanks for the bug reports!
The PS3 compat mode is disabled for now because its not done yet. NAT is working perfectly, but it does not help with PS3 gaming.
PS3 users: no need to enter your PS3 MAC address into the “always forward” list anymore! XBSlink will recognize a PS3 in standard settings, just like with an Xbox360 console.
XBSlink settings will now be saved in a standard way for .NET applications. The settings will be reset to default values, please check your settings!
Check out the full changelog after the break.
