Yesterday, the cloudlist server has been updated to use a mysql database instead of a simple sqlite file db. Errors on cloudlist updates are gone now!
The updated cloudlist server file will be in the download section later today. Stay tuned for a XBSlink client update …
The simple XBSlink cloudlist server has been updated to v1.8.
As part of the update, only clients starting from v0.9.5.3 will be able to create or join clouds. This is mainly to prevent cloud overlapping.
The cloudlist server will be upgraded.
As part of the update the cloudlist server will require the user to use at least a specific XBSlink version (v0.9.5.3) or newer. This is necessary to prevent cloud overlapping.
Please make sure to upgrade your XBSlink client to the current version soon.
the simple XBSlink cloudlist server (php/sqlite3) v1.7.1 has been released. (see downloads)
the change-log is pretty short this time:
Anyone wondering why it was pretty hard to join any cloud?
Well – programming with sleep deprivation is not a good idea
the updated cloudlist server v1.6.1 fixes a serious bug (actually just one line of code) that made it impossible to join a cloud if all XBSlink nodes in this cloud were using the same port number.
The cloudlist server is now working properly and returns all known nodes of a cloud to the client.
